April, 2026

Greetings Brethren,

It is refreshing that the winter chills are behind us and spring has brought us warmer albeit wetter weather as well as the early morning chirping of the Robins and Cardinals.

I would like to start by first congratulating our newest Brother upon his raising to the sublime degree of Master Mason, the entire degree team for your valued support for his degree and to his mentor for having him very well prepared!

May 13 brings us to our last regular lodge meeting prior to summer call off during which we will be performing an initiation, with our candidate. He is ready and looking forward to getting his Masonic journey started. May also brings us to the last of the Hamilton South official visits (Seymour 272 - May 12) with a transition to a number of Installations (six within Hamilton South District) over the next two months- Buchanan No 550 May 7 and Landmarks Temple No 324 May 26. It has been a pleasure travelling with you to the official visits these past few months. I also plan upon attending Zetland Wilson Lodge No 86 for their installation on May 5th.

If you have the time, please have a look at the upcoming events listed in our summons or within the DDGM’s trestle board particularly those June installations given our call off. It remains my plan to attend all those remaining events and, as always, I would love to have you accompany me – the more the merrier to show our support for the district.

I send to you, my brethren, my well wishes and prayers each of you over the coming months during call off. The lazy days of summer will skip by in a flash and in short order September will be upon us - so enjoy each moment with your families this summer and may the GAOTU smile on you and your family.
