Greetings From The East!
Brethren, daylight hours are greatly reduced, the mornings and evenings are much cooler and the leaves I observe are starting to turn – how quickly September passed us!
As well, masonry is clearly back from summer call off and running full tilt as evidenced from our secretary’s email of Aug 31 which contained held 22 attachments made up of various summons, district trestle board, and various other masonic notices which I refer to regularly. It was also a delight having had a number of brethren participate in the Second Wednesday Lodge night this past
September 30th which was hosted by Meridian No. 513.
This coming month is The Barton No 6’s traditional Past Master’s night and I welcome W. Bro. Jeff Boyle to the East as he and his team of Past Masters will be conducting us through an Initiation.
While this will be an exciting and memorable experience for our candidate, it will also be memorable to our Past Masters and to those observing the evening as there has always been an additional degree of excitement about this evening.
Further, I eagerly look forward to getting reacquainted with brethren from within our district and beyond as I will continue my personal commitment to represent The Barton No. 6 within district events as I will be attending the district meeting on Oct 3 as well as the official visit this month for Hugh Murray No. 602 (Oct 20), in addition to the Electric Valley No. 100 installation (Oct 19) and the Fall Devine Service October 25.
I look forward to as many brethren as possible to accompany me to as many district events as possible over the next three months in order to continue to make our presence known throughout the district. May the GAOTU continue to show favour upon on you and your family.
